Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours Booking Conditions

Individual or private bookings available

Max 20 persons on each tour

Minimum 12 persons on each charter

All Lobster caught in our numerous pots will be shared out evenly among the passengers.

All Lobster caught must comply with all current fishing rules and regulations.  Maximum personal limits apply.

Children under 15 years of age only permitted on private charters


Weather Conditions
4 hour Catch and Keep and 6 Hour Catch, Keep and Cook Tour are dependant on suitable weather conditions and minimum passengers.  Weather will be checked at 4.30pm the day before your tour and all clients booking will receive a SMS to confirm departure.  If the weather is not suitable or minimum passenger numbers are not met, the tour will be rescheduled. 

On whole boat bookings the skipper will revise the itinerary to suit the weather conditions.

Payment Terms
1 to 10 persons – Full payment is required at the time of booking.
11 + persons – A 50% non-refundable security deposit is due at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Amendments
1-10 person bookings - No refund of the ticket price if notice of cancellation is given within 72 hours of the tour start time.  50% of the ticket price is refunded if cancellation occurs between 72 hours and 30 days.  Full price is only refunded up to 60 days in advance upon a written cancellation by the guest.  All refunds are less credit card and transactions fees of 1.5%.

Whole Boat Group Bookings
50% of the total vessel hire is payable to secure your booking  Full payment must be received in full 30 days prior to the date of your tour otherwise your booking may be cancelled.  If the client cancels in writing 60 days prior to the tour,  Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours reserve the right to charge 50% of the vessel tour fee plus admin fess of $25.00.  If cancellation is within 14 days prior to the date of your charter we will charge 100% of the tour fee plus any other expenses already incurred or committed to.

Deposits are non-refundable / non-transferable.

If Fremantle Rock Lobster tours need to cancel your tour due to any force majeure event, we will reschedule the tour or a full refund will be offered.

If the weather is not suitable for a full 6 hour Rock Lobster Tour then the skipper will advise a suitable revised itinerary on the day.

Minimum passenger numbers of 12 guests are needed for tour to proceed.  If minimum numbers are not met within 24 hours of tour start time, guests will be offered an alternative date or a gift voucher will be issued.

Companion Card
Please check when booking if your tour date is accepting companion cards.

Dress Code
Highly recommend comfortable shoes on our Fremantle Rock Lobster tours – high heels are not suitable.  Majority of the vessel is under shade however please bring along a hat.  A jumper, jacket would also be advised .

Photography
Our crew love to take photos on our tours and will probably be used in our our social media and marketing material.  Please let the crew know if you do not want to be photographed.

Receipt of a deposit or payment from each individual is considered as acknowledgement and consent to the terms and conditions supplied by Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours.

Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours and/or its owners and operators do not accept any responsibility whether in tort contract or otherwise for injury to, or death of, any of its passengers whether during a cruise, boarding or disembarking or on any boarding jetties or any other jetties or wharves used whilst passengers are on board, boarding or disembarking. Further no liability, either expressed or implied, will be accepted for the loss of damage of luggage or other personal items.

Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours conducts tours in the Indian Ocean off Fremantle . The nature of these tours in some circumstances mean passengers may face some physical discomfort and even danger. In the cases Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours expects all passengers to understand and appreciate the risks involved, and be prepared to accept those risks. Naturally we undertake to provide every possible precaution and to take all due care, but ultimately all responsibility for illness, accident or death, or any property damage or loss, lies with the passenger.

Fremantle Rock Lobster Tours are unable to accept any responsibility for any action on behalf of any other carrier that may result in passengers failing to meet the conditions set down in booking conditions

Seasickness
We do not provide seasickness tablets on board the vessel. We do recommend that clients bring along their own tablets and take them according to the medication directions. We cannot be responsible for seasickness issues and cannot refund if you are seasick.

Vessel may be substituted on the day if necessary.

Rock Lobster Western Australian Government fishing rules and regulations apply - maximum per person limits apply.  All rules and regulations as advised by DPIRD and may be subject to change without notice.
